      FINDING THE WILL OF GOD                   FBC-PC   8-26-12 AM

THE WILL OF GOD IS REVEALED THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE

      Matt.12:50   For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven,
the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
      Matt. 7:21   Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of
Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.
      Rom. 12:2    And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

THE WILL OF GOD HAS A PURPOSE

   That we become Christ like - Romans 8:29, 30
   Thou shalt not�s protect us - Ex. 20
   His Will is that we love Him and be Holy; To be holy we have to confess sin Daily - Matt. 22:37-40; I Peter 1:13-16; I John 1:7-2:2
   His will is that we Come to Him and become followers of Him - Matt. 4:19; 11:28
   His will is that we Allow (suffer) the little children to come to come to Him - Matt. 19:14; 18:14
   He wants us to go and tell others - Mark 16:15; Matt. 28:19,20; Acts 1:8

THE WILL OF GOD FOR MY DAILY LIFE

   Led me � Gen. 24:27
   Light to my path - Psalm 119:105
   Guide me - Proverbs 16:9; Psalm 37:5,23

You will find the will of God clearly given throughout the written Word of God.
Read it to be wise.
Believe it to be safe.
Practice it to be Holy.
Memorize it to grow.

  2. He is The God of Grace  v. 7, 8
        A.  Grace displayed in His choosing
        B.  Grace displayed in His enabling

  3. He is The God of answered Prayer v.9
        A.  Saw their affliction
        B.  Delivered them through the Red Sea

  4. He is The God of Deliverance V.10-12
        A.  By Power
        B.  By Guidance
        C.  By Pillar of Fire (Holy Spirit)

  5. He is The God of Revelation v.13-14
