THE LAMB IS THE LIGHT                                           FBC-PC 10-19-14 AM
           Revelation   21:22-22:5

We have peeked into heaven and saw the New Jerusalem more beautiful than a bride all decked out for her husband on their wedding day.

We considered its walls, its gates its foundations and its size.

I.    THE GLORIOUS CITY FROM HEAVEN  Rev. 21:2-22:5
                          Remember its names:
The city four square vs. 16        The Holy Jerusalem vs. 10
The Bride adorned vs. 2            The City of God vs. 18
The Lambs wife vs. 9                The Great City vs. 10
The New Jerusalem vs.2            The Holy City vs. 2

II.  THE CITY AND ITS LIGHT  21:22-25; 22:5
No temple, God is the Temple, Jesus is the light. Is He your light?
No Temple (center of Worship, place to meet God on earth), now not needed as
we will be in the very presence of the triune God.
Jesus Christ the Lord is the Lamb and the Light. John 1:7-9; 3:19; 8:12; 12:35; I John 1:5-7

III.  THE CITY AND ITS COMMUNITIES  vs. 26-27; 22:3-4
       Jews redeemed from all ages
Gentiles redeemed all ages (Nations) 21:24; 22:2
Church redeemed (Pentecost to Rapture) Acts 2--Rev. 4:1

IV.  THE CITY AND ITS STREETS, RIVER AND FRUIT  22:1-5
The River coming out of the Temple in Jerusalem - Ezekiel 47:1-12
The River coming out of the center of the New Jerusalem.
Some believe a river will flow out of all 12 gates in the center of each street of gold.
The Trees seem to have the same descriptions and purpose in the earthly Jerusalem of
the Millennium and New Jerusalem from Heaven.
